If there is one utility that is indispensable for me on the Mac, HoudahSpot is it (locates files on disk).
Tembo is an incredible now. Just upgraded finally to Mac OS 10.13.2 and now Tembo doesnt work properly. I type something into the search bar and it finds things.
Numerous feature requests have been submitted[1] to update this functionality and to provide a preferences pane for users to decide how they want different file types handled, but they have been ignored as this behavior is a design decision.
